Laser cutting of MDF is a non-contact method of cutting sheets with a laser beam.
Advantages of laser cutting:
- implementation of complex contours and the smallest details
- thanks to the thickness of the laser, minimal gaps between the elements on the layout are possible, which optimizes consumption;
- the integrity of the workpiece, since the material does not receive mechanical pressure during laser cutting, as a result of which the edges and cuts are smooth (although dark).

MDF – Fine-dispersion fraction from Medium Density Fibreboard, abbr. MDF is a wood-fibrous plate made of dry finely dispersed chips, pressed in a mixture with urea resins under high pressure and temperature. The medium-density material, homogeneous in structure, can be easily cut and processed, is considered harmless (class E1 - low formaldehyde emission). MDF lends itself well to painting, lamination, veneering and is easily glued. Due to its durability, environmental friendliness and homogeneity, it is used everywhere.
